Pathway for training nurses currently abroad
If you are an NHS Trust or other healthcare body recruiting from abroad then our OET International Pathway is a great way to bring your recruits up to speed and into the UK without the need for providing all the upfront infrastructure and expense that goes with a hiring a new employee.
Your recruits are assessed and trained whilst still in their own countries and only when you are satisfied with their ability to fit in with your organisation will they come to the UK. At that point we will take care of their study for the OET exams. As the employer you are always in control, with three break points at which you can make an informed decision about whether to continue with a particular candidate or not.
From your trainees' point of view, being trained outside the working environment at times to suit them means they can focus entirely on getting through the OET exam quickly and with minimum disruption to their lives by having to juggle shift work with study.

Do you need some help?
Let's be honest - getting your recruits through OET can be a minefield. If you would like to have an open, honest and frank discussion about your recruitment plans we would be very happy to meet you in person, on Teams, Zoom or Skype. At Worcester Medical we have been 'doing OET' since 2017 (and prior to that IELTS) when it first became approved by the NMC and GMC in the UK and we are happy to share our knowledge and experience with you free of charge.
